Meeting called to order at 6:30pm by Diane Cassell

 

Attendance: Cathi Legg, Kathy Bell, Susan Smuda, Diane Cassell, Jean Gomez, Adriann Mischel

 

November and December meetings will be combined and held on December 6, 2006. Times will remain the same, and the location will remain at the Uptown Sheraton in Albuquerque.

            ~ Motion by Sue Smuda each person attending brings a white elephant gift to exchange at the meeting.

            ~ Second by Adriann

March 8, 2007 is the date set for the Nuts and Bolts conference through Med Ed. Teri Baughman is organizing this event, and there will be o a discount offered to ENA members.

 

National New Officer Orientation Update from Diane:

-         The is $1,200 being given to each State by National to assist with the costs of the orientation

-         National will not be paying for the hotel rooms this year though

-         Airfare is currently at $350.00

-         The Treasure’s expenses were paid for by the chapter last year. It is most likely unnecessary for the Treasure to attend again this year as we have the same individual in office, however Teri will look into it.

-         We will be sending Sue Smuda (President) and Adriann Mischel (President Elect)

-         Travel possibilities were discussed

-         It is believed that the orientation will be Friday and Saturday 1/2 day, but more details are expected soon from National.

Sue Smuda has place a survey on the web site that she would like all to complete concerning the Presidents report. She will be working on it with Dianne.

 

All complimented the professional appearance and design of the WEB site.

The Presidents conference call has been changed to November 2, 2006

 

All receipts from the National Conf. In San Antonio must be turned in to Teri Baughman NO LATER THAN THE NEXT MEETING!
