Teri passed out copies of the revised reimbursement forms. Specifics included:

Update concerning the Nuts and Bolts Conference scheduled for March 8th and 9th:
· Only 2 have registered to date
· Teri has received multiple phone calls about the conference
· Help at the registration table is requested: Jean Gomez offered to assist both days
· General agreement in open forum is that if an ENA member assists at the conference then they may attend without cost or fees.
· Credit Cards will not be accepted due to the prohibitive fees associate with them.
ENA Foundation
The national foundation is requesting / challenging the State ENA to donate money to the foundation for the purpose of funding scholarships.
· The expectation is that the each State will provide / send in $1.00 per state member
· Contributions less that $5,000.00 will be combined with other states
· Contributions of greater than $5,000.00 will be made into an individual scholarship and the group that made the donation will have the ability to name the scholarship.
· NM ENA currently has 226 members
· Suggestion was made that perhaps a raffle could be done at the conference in March with the income going to National ENAF
· National would like the funds submitted by July 2, 2007
Strategic Goals:
Sue asked for suggestions. Possibilities included increasing membership by:
· Sue requested the names / addresses of all new members so she can write a welcome letter to them. (Teri receives a list of all members on a monthly basis)
· Suggestion with discussion that each time a member attends a meeting their name is but into a “hat”. Or if a member brings a friend that joins then your name is put into the “hat” twice. Rewards could include: a percentage off of a conference or a $20.00 stipend towards a local conference.
· Suggestion with discussion that we hold an undefined number of the meetings in the Northern or Southern part of the State.
· Suggestion with discussion that we hold an ENA meeting between during the Nuts and Bolts Conference between the first and second day.
· Suggestion with discussion that a one of the Delegates for the National Conference be from out of the Albuquerque Metropolitan area.
