GA Delegation

The applicant forms were reviewed. The delegation number will not be final from the national office until the middle of June.

It was recommended that the application form be clarified regarding points for certifications, etc.

Adriann will revise the delegate application form as noted for next year’s process. It was moved and seconded that the stipend be set at $1200

Cathi will notify the delegates when she receives the allocation from the national office.

 

Membership Report – Membership Needs Survey

The surveys were distributed to the board members for review.

The content was discussed and some areas simplified

Kevin will make the suggested changes and put on the survey tool after final email approval from this group.

Will be distributed by the end of next week

 

State Council Committee Chair reports:

ENPC/TNCC: Diane Cassell

Research/Nursing Practice: Kathy Bell

 

Media Relations: Sara Campbell

Forensics: Teri Baughman

The national website displays all classes offered in NM for ENPC and TNCC. The class application must be accepted to be posted., Course fees are apid to ENA and the state is awarded the assessments. Course directors must be ENA members who are designates as Instructors with experience. Verification of required experience is through the Course confirmation final instructor lists.

 

Links were sent to all ENA members

 

 

 

 

 

The planned article has not yet been completed. It was suggested to incorporate into Emergency Nurse;’s week.

 

 

A nationasl committee is under construction to include a position statement, SIG , Listserv. The program is still under construction.

Treasurer’s Report

 

 

Patti reported a treasury balance of $17,545.65. There have been no expenditures.

Delegate inforation was presented and an on-line orientation/educational program was developed that must be completed by all delegates priuor to the conference.

Emergency Nurse’s week

September 2010 during the national convention. A suggestion ws made to send cards to emergency nurses or departments.
